Musicians and Bands

Celebrating the bands and musicians who make rad music and call Telluride home.

Aubrey Mable

Aubrey Mable is a multi-instrumentalist producer & performer living in Telluride, CO. She taught herself how to play guitar when she was 12 and has never looked back. She spent many days of 2020 looping her guitar to ease her mind from the stress of the world. She then got curious about learning how to record them herself and took an online class to better navigate the production space. In the spring of 2022, she released the first 5 instrumental tracks she has ever written & recorded in an EP called The Dawn. These songs are the deep breath she needed for herself. Her second EP, The Open Sea, was created thanks to a Telluride Arts/Augment Foundation Small Business Grant. You can find her instrumental music as well as her band LVDY's music wherever you listen to your tunes!

Après Nova

With a mixture of improvisation and lack of preparation, Après Nova, composed of brothers Max and Oliver Henry, bring snow to the equator, deliver storks their babies, offer alms to the poor and qualms to the rich, and will make you dance, laugh and contemplate the unsolved mysteries of the universe.

Atari Safari

Drawing inspiration from Dinosaur Jr. to Khruangbin, Atari Safari's Desert-Surf shoegaze style speaks to people moving along dusty streets and wandering red rock canyons. Warren Gilbreath weaves textured guitar loops together with Sam Burgess' deep low-end bass, anchored by the pocket grooves of drummer Claybrook Penn. Hang out and enjoy the trip with Atari Safari, the originators of the "Sawpit Sound".
